The Happy Lil' Apple Tree

So this is a story about an apple tree who is not bearing fruit, so his friend the peach tree shares his. The apple tree, being clever, paints the peaches green so when the farmer comes to collect he assumes the apple tree has made some lovely fruit. The farmer sells all the "apples" and everyone is happy until they find out what happens when you eat lead based paint on fruit...
